The automotive CNG cylinder has an outer diameter of 356mm and wall thickness of 5.4mm. Made using 30CrMo, the 356mm CNG cylinder is durable and safe to use. According to the cylinder capacity, our 356mm automotive CNG cylinders are classified into a wide variety of types which all comes with varied length and weight. To illustrate, we can offer gas cylinders with capacity from 60L to 150L. Our 60L automotive CNG cylinder has a length of 800mm and weight of 54kg, our 70L CNG cylinder has a length of 905mm and weight of 61kg, and our 80L cylinder has a length of 1015mm and weighs 68kg, to name a few. Quality of the 356mm Automotive CNG Cylinder
According to the Chinese national and international related standards, the gas cylinder bottom is required to undergo air tight test only to test the bottom fusion quality. During our years of CNG cylinder production and testing experience, we have found that this air tight test cannot effectively detect cylinder bottom defects, such as tiny cracks and insufficient bottom thickness, when the bottom thickness is over 3mm. Therefore, in order to avoid any defects in our gas cylinders, we conduct ultrasonic thickness tests and ultrasonic flaw detection of our cylinder bottoms to make sure all our CNG cylinders are qualified and to eliminate any risk of explosion caused by insufficient bottom thickness, bottom micro-cracks, etc.

Appearance Advantage of the 356mm Automotive CNG Cylinder
In order to increase cylinder capacity, we design our gas cylinder to have a slight saucer shape. Therefore, compared with a standard-shaped CNG cylinder of the same capacity, our gas cylinder is shorter in length.

Usage Instruction on the 356mm Automotive CNG Cylinder
Filling of the CNG cylinder should conform to related local regulations and rules. It is forbidden to use our gas cylinder for holding mixed gas, other type of gaseous material and CNG not conforming to the requirement listed above. Prior to CNG filling, there should be an overall check of the gas cylinder performed by a qualified professional in gas filling.
